Mulai is one of 18 finalists in the Global FinTech Hackcelerator 2026, run by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) with the Global Finance & Technology Network. This year’s programme drew 195 applications from 52 jurisdictions. Mulai is part of One Clear Portal, the Singapore holding company where I am CEO.
The problem
Mulai is competing on GXS Bank’s problem statement, Adaptive Risk Modelling Systems. Credit risk and fraud risk share many of the same signals, yet they are often assessed separately, by different teams on different systems. GXS Bank asked for a single framework that assesses both and keeps learning.
Six of the 18 finalists were shortlisted for this challenge.
Mulai’s answer
Mulai scores credit and fraud risk together, in real time, on one platform. Working from the same signals removes the gap between credit and fraud teams. Customers with little credit history can then be assessed safely instead of being declined by default.
Risk teams configure their models without code, so they can adapt them without waiting on engineering changes.
